Name change at 16 years old

If you wish to change your name on your 16th birthday, you can order your Deed Poll in advance so it is to hand for signing on your birthday.

Please complete the application form and enter the date of your 16th birthday in the box next to the question “Do you want your Deed Poll dated for a specific date”, which you will find towards the bottom of section 1.  Your order will be accepted and your Deed Poll will be posted to you and dated with the date of your 16th birthday.

On your 16th birthday you can then execute your Deed Poll and start using it immediately to get your documents and records changed to your new name.
